OSMEN 20 Years Anniversary
The colour is different to what’s on the website. The ropes on the backs/sides of the chairs are grey and the cushions are more a sand/oat colour. The table top colour is different again. We were told in multiple stores visited it was all grey in colour, so a little disappointed on the 4 piece setting not being as described. There is no description online advising the colour, so we relied on store people to advise us, which was unfortunately incorrect.
Love our outdoor table and chairs also lounges.
If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I would give them minus one star.
I ordered a Vergola from the Osmen Auburn store around middle of May through Elora. She requested full payment, but I refused. We agreed that I would pay 50% upfront and the balance after completion.
At the end of July, the order was badly delayed. I was initially told that it had arrived, but I was later informed that they had made a mistake and my order was not even in the container.
When it finally arrived in early September(almost five months late)I was forced to pay the full balance before installation. Because of the significant delay, I had no choice. They would not deliver or install my Vergola until full payment had been made.
The installer, Gabriel, installed three columns that were approximately 300 mm too short and promised to return to fix them. I have informed Elona at Auburn store and told her the job was not completed, I later discovered that the Vergola was also leaking badly. Weeks passed without any proper solution. I called Elora at the Auburn store, but after a heated discussion, she simply told me to email head office and did not provide any further assistance.
When I complained, the owner, Michael, tried to blame me because I had approved the drawings. I am a customer, not an engineer. I relied on Osmen and its installer to measure, design and manufacture the product correctly.
Gabriel later told me that he had already been paid and that any further work would be done “for free”. Two installers eventually returned with what I considered an unacceptable temporary solution, which I refused.
I even offered him to pay extra to have the job completed properly. Gabriel agreed, but then failed to turn up again. This installer does not answer calls or return them.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had—delays, poor communication, incorrect installation and broken promises.
I deeply regret choosing Osmen. I chose them because they were exhibiting at the Sydney Home Show, but I have been extremely disappointed. Anyone considering dealing with this company should think very carefully. For me, it has been a nightmare.

What a fantastic place to shop, from the display and quality of products to the very friendly and helpful staff, I could not have been happier.
With the amount of products to choose from design to size, the staff were very helpful and the advise was appreciated and nothing was too much trouble.
The delivery and installation people were very friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely shop at Osmen again when needed.
