This role will see you working primarily at our Alexandria Home Centre store location with additional travel when necessary.

We are looking for sales and design consultants with an interest in helping customers, and enthusiasm in selling. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, and happy to grow!

 

Everyday, you can expect to:

  • Provide product knowledge and increase sales opportunities by providing design solutions and retail products to clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs (both personal and storewide)
  • Following up customer inquiries and maintain excellent customer service and relationships
  • Develop knowledge of OSMEN collections and products
  • Close open sales orders and up-sell key product pieces
  • Maintain the Visual Display of the Store up to company standard 
  • Create and track quotes in OSMEN’s internal system
  • Preparation of client presentations

  • A proven sales track record and have completed Interior Design courses

About the Role : 
Candidates will possess the following attributes: 
- Have Forklift License 
- Have basic furniture assembly or removals experience or similar work experience 
- Prior warehouse experience required 
- Display exceptional work ethic and reliability, physically fit with the ability to work with heavy products 
- Demonstrate great communication, time management, customer service skills 
- A reliable and motivated team player 
- Computer skills is required 
- Flexibility to work on a 6 day roster ( including Saturday )

Everyday, you can expect to :

 -Handing, lifting, moving, packing, unpacking and storing of product including manual handing  

-Stock In, Stock Out and Stock transfer between stores 

-Select and allocate stock to orders 

-Organisational planning in preparation for stock arrival

-Unloading containers

-Assisting with the receipt of incoming goods

-Maintaining accuracy of inventory stock level

-Packing of outgoing good to ensure safe dispatch

-Furniture assembly, installation and repairing, when required

-Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness in and around the warehouse

 

To be considered for this role you must have the warehouse experience ( prefer furniture industry ) and skills:

  • Have experience to manager 5-10 staffs
  • Have strong values on customer service
  • Have a high work ethic
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Be computer literate
  • Flexibility to work on a 7 day roster (this includes weekends)
  • Forklift License
  • Chinese speaking prefer

Everyday, you can expect to :   

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager & Management team, your duties will including but not limited to :

  • To ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately
  • Maintaining stock records and systems
  • Unloading containers
  • Furniture assembly and installation, when required
  • Assisting with the receipt of incoming goods
  • Manual handling, lifting, moving, packing, unpacking and storing of product is required
  • Preparation for stock arrival 
  • Select and allocate stock to orders
  • Packing of outgoing goods
